It doesn’t matter if you are a producer, researcher, a granny in the country side. If you are involved in something delicious, we will come and find you.
The 40creations project is the prized harvest of our delicious travels. Chefs, creators, many people are involved in making delicious food possible. We are on a journey to find and spread the smiles that surround delicious things.
LEADER PROFILEYu Nakamura
Born in 1986. A culinary researcher. Picked up the Spanish and English languages having spent time in kitchens in over 30 countries.
During college, Yu spent time mainly in New York, interviewing various tentrepreneurs and documenting their lifestyles. Also, during her time abroad, she realized that good food could create smiles, regardless of country borders or age. Using that as inspiration, she gained sponsorship from various companies and created “The Best Smile from World Kitchen” Project, which involved cultural exchange through food and learned international home-styled cooking.
After graduating from college, Yu was hired by the publishing firm, Taraxacum Company. She also polished up her cooking skills at the restaurant, Kitchen Watarigarasu in Ebisu, before becoming freelance in 2012.
Basing herself as a freelance chef in Harajuku, she also published articles for the newspaper, NORAH. Yu has also made appearances as a speaker for TEDxTokyo yz, and also consults for various food related companies.
